
Heather Rickett was inducted as a new Canandaigua Rotarian on January 26th. Heather works for Thompson Health. Her and her husband live in Bristol and dedicate much of their free time volunteering in their community.

PDG Tom Rogers presented Joe Delforte with a certificate and pin recognizing Joe for becoming a Rotary Foundation Benefactor. Individuals qualify as a Benefactor by supporting the Rotary Foundation Endowment with a minimum of $1,000 by an outright gift or bequest (commitment for a future gift). 1/19/23

Majors David and Pam Rhodes from the Salvation Army in Canandaigua presented Rotary with this year’s prize for raising the most money during the holiday Red Kettle Campaign, (a friendly competition going on between Rotary & Kiwanis since 1979). Together the 2 clubs raised over $18K during the Red Kettle Campaign for the Salvation Army.

The Canandaigua Rotary Club presented a $3200 check to the Canandaigua Academy music department on January 12th. The funds were made available because of the music department's participation in selling tickets to the Rotary RPO Holiday Concert held at the school in December. The concert was attended by over 700 people.

Enjoying January's 1st Friday held at Ferona with members from Canandaigua Rotary Club, District 7120 DG, PDG's, DGE & their spouses as well as visiting Rotarians from India and Uganda who will be attending District Governor training in Orlando, FL.

Allison Hildebrandt, chairperson for our Service Projects Committee, delivers Christmas presents to Veteran Affairs personnel; gifts purchased by Rotary as Part of Operation Making Spirits Bright. Our club supported two Veteran Families this holiday season.


After a 3-year hiatus due to Covid, the Canandaigua Rotary Club RPO Holiday Concert returned to the Academy auditorium. Hundreds enjoyed the wonderful, traditional sounds of the holiday season. A spectacular evening for sure!
